My 5th grade colleagues have enjoyed the activities and ideas that I have shared with them from the trainings that DRI has held so far this year. The ideas that I brought back from the training The Innovator Within helped my team develop several activities that are beginning to meet the Engineering Practices for our grade level. My colleagues need hands-on learning activities so they are able to understand what the standards document is saying. The trainings that I have attended so far have allowed my team and I to work and plan activities using a common language in order to understand the standards documents.
