K-12 EDUCATORS TRANSFORMING EDUCATION
The Nevada Museum of Art in partnership with the Desert Research Institute's Science Alive program presents the inaugural, statewide NV STEAM conference to explore best practices in STEAM Education. Supported by the Nevada Department of Education and the Governor's STEM Advisory Council, and in collaboration with arts, science, and educational organizations from across the state, the NV STEAM Conference aims to inspire creative innovation through engaging, hands-on workshops and nationally recognized keynote speakers. The sold-out NV STEAM Conference takes place Saturday, February 24, from 8 am to 5:30 pm, at the Nevada Museum of Art, Donald W. Reynolds Center for the Visual Arts, E. L. Wiegand Gallery, located at 160 West Liberty Street, Reno, Nevada. More than 180 K-12 educators from across the Silver State will participate in this transformative interdisciplinary event.
