Join us for some fun on the Urban Roots farm where you’ll receive cross-curricular ideas for your classroom or school garden and leave with fantastic standards-based lesson plans. In our Natural Reaction workshop, you’ll discover how plant chemistry relates to how we use plants, how nutrients impact plant growth and why pH matters. Sponsored by DRI’s GreenPower Program, this training from the folks at Urban Roots is completely FREE for Nevada’s educators. Attendance is limited to 20 attendees, so sign up soon!

In-Service Credit

If you’re interested in a 0.5 in-service credit, be sure to also sign up and attend our Artful Architecture workshop on Saturday, April 12th, 2014. You must attend both sessions to obtain the 0.5 in-service credit.
