Date: February 10-11, 2017, Friday 4:00-8:00 pm - Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Venue: Western High School, Las Vegas

DRI K-12 Education Outreach in conjunction with the Southern Nevada Science Teachers Association Conference invite you to join us for two days of exciting speakers and informative sessions.

Imagine a blank canvas where you are given the freedom to design a city from the ground up.  What infrastructure will you need and what elements need to go into planning for your city?  What human and ecological experiences might you encounter? Join us for an exploration of this topic through the STEAM lens as we bring together Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math to discuss city planning for the next generation.  We will learn together through a combination of hands on activities and dynamic keynote presentations that will inspire you and allow you to bring the material to life in your classrooms.
