Renewable Energy is the key to a greener and cleaner future. Join educators on a 2-day training exploring the energy sector and learn how you can bring this information back into your classrooms with hands-on lessons. We will visit 2 unique Geothermal sites in the Reno area and see how we use this renewable source to generate electricity and to produce hot water for the Peppermill Hotel. We will also hear from NV Energy and Southwest Gas as they educate us on what we can do to save energy and save money.

What will you receive: Participants who complete the training will receive 0.5 in-service credit through the Nevada Department of Education

We have limited availability for this event and reservations are on a first come first reserved basis. We ask that you only reserve a space if you can guarantee you will be able to join us!
